Refund Policy

We want you satisfied with StreamSnip. This Refund Policy outlines when refunds are available and how to request one.

1. 7-day money-back guarantee

All new paid subscriptions are covered by a 7-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied for any reason within 7 days of your first paid charge, email privacy@streamsnip.io with your account email and we will issue a full refund. No phone calls, no retention script.

2. No prorated refunds after the guarantee

After the 7-day window, we do not issue prorated refunds for partial months. You keep full access to your tier through the end of the current billing period after cancellation.

3. Renewal refunds

If your subscription auto-renews and you did not intend to continue, email us within 7 days of the renewal charge and we will refund the renewal. After that window we cannot refund the renewal, but you can still cancel going forward.

4. Plan downgrades

Downgrading from a higher-tier plan (for example Heavyweight to Contender) does not trigger a refund for the difference. Downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle.

5. Service issues

If you experience significant service disruptions that prevent you from using StreamSnip for an extended period, contact us at privacy@streamsnip.io. We review service-credit and refund requests case by case.

6. Exceptions

Refunds will not be issued for: (a) violations of our Terms of Service, (b) abuse of the refund policy (for example repeatedly subscribing, consuming the service heavily, and requesting refunds), (c) chargebacks filed without first contacting us.

7. How to request a refund

Email privacy@streamsnip.io with the subject line "Refund request" and include: the email address on your account, the charge date, and a brief reason. We respond within 2 business days.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us first. Filing a chargeback without contacting us means we lose the dispute fee on top of the refund — and chargebacks can result in suspension of your account while the dispute is reviewed. Nearly every situation is faster and easier to resolve by email.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Changes apply to new charges made after the update date. If the policy materially changes we will email existing subscribers.
